Heidi Sanford, BS, PT

Physical Therapist

I am the owner of Valley Kids Therapy which was started in 2006. I graduated from the University of Washington Physical Therapy program in 1998 and have worked with children since graduation. My primary experience is with children from birth to six years of age, but I enjoy working with children of all ages. I focus therapy to help children develop functional skills that will help them move and play with their peers. For fun, I like mountain biking, rock climbing and hiking.

Chelsea Eslick, DPT

Physical Therapist

I graduated with my Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the University of Washington in 2015. I was lucky enough to have an internship at Valley Kids Therapy and was hired on after graduation. I love working with kids and look forward to expanding my knowledge of neurology, orthopedics and all other subjects that apply to the diverse world of pediatrics. When not working I love to read, hang out with my dogs, or go play a game of basketball.

Amelia Lemon, PTA

Physical Therapist Assistant

I graduated from Whatcom Community College’s Physical Therapy Assistant program in 2008. After graduation I worked for St. Joseph Peacehealth Medical Center in the inpatient rehab department. I left the hospital to have my 4th child and when I returned to work I decided to take a position in an outpatient orthopedic clinic in Anacortes. I continue to work as an on-call therapist for a company that staffs Skilled Nursing Facilities so that I remain up to date on my orthopedic and medical skills. I have furthered my education by taking classes on nutrition, mental illness, and other manual therapies including kinesiotaping. In addition to work and spending time with my family, I enjoy working out at my gym, knitting, cooking, hiking, and reading.
